1. Privacy Policy
Introduction
At LMW Recovery we are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use
and safeguard your personal information when you use our website or book a treatment.
Information We Collect
Information you give us: name, email address, telephone number and the details of
your enquiry or booking, submitted through our contact or booking forms.
Health information: where you book a treatment, we collect the health and medical
details needed to make massage safe for you, via a client screening form. This is special category
data and is handled with particular care (see below).
Information collected automatically: basic technical data such as IP address,
browser type and pages visited, used to keep the site secure and working well.
How We Use Your Information
To respond to enquiries, arrange and manage your appointments.
To deliver treatment safely and keep the clinical records our insurer and professional body require.
To maintain and improve the website and your experience of it.
To send you information you have asked for or consented to receive. You can opt out at any time.
Lawful Basis
We rely on your consent for enquiries and marketing, and on the performance of our service to you (and
our legitimate interest in running the business) to manage bookings. Health information is processed on
the basis of your explicit consent and for the provision of health treatment.
Data Protection & Security
We comply with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Personal and health data is stored securely using appropriate technical and organisational measures,
and access is limited to your therapist.
Retention
Enquiry data is kept for up to one year unless a legal requirement says otherwise. Treatment and health
records are kept securely for the period required by our insurer and professional body, after which they
are securely destroyed.
Third-Party Processors
We may share data with trusted service providers such as our website host, email provider and any
booking or analytics tools we use. These providers act on our instructions and are required to handle your
data in line with UK data protection law. We never sell your data.
Your Rights
Access a copy of your personal data, and have inaccurate data corrected.
Request deletion of your data where there is no legal reason for us to keep it.
Withdraw consent for marketing at any time.
Complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

preferences.
How we use them
Essential cookies: needed for the site and its forms to work.
Analytical/performance cookies: if enabled, help us understand how the site is used
so we can improve it. These are only set with your consent.
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop
