Welcome to LMW Recovery. By booking a treatment with Laura you agree to the
following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully — they set out what you can expect from us
and what we ask in return so you get the most from your treatment.
1. Our Services
LMW Recovery provides in-person sports and remedial massage therapy, delivered from a private garden studio in Llantrisant, RCT.
Treatments are intended to support general wellbeing, recovery and performance. They are not a substitute for medical treatment, physiotherapy, diagnosis or specialist healthcare.
Your therapist is not a clinician and does not diagnose medical conditions. Where appropriate you may be referred to your GP or another healthcare professional.
2. Your Responsibilities
You confirm you are participating of your own free will, and that you have either been cleared by a qualified healthcare professional or accept the risks of taking part. LMW Recovery recommends consulting your doctor if you are unsure whether massage is suitable for you.
You agree to complete the client health screening honestly and to disclose any relevant health information, injuries or medication so that treatment is safe and effective.
You will tell your therapist if your health, medication or symptoms change at any point, including during a treatment.
You will arrive in a fit state for treatment. Treatment may be declined if you attend unwell (e.g. fever, contagious illness) or under the influence of alcohol or non-prescribed drugs.
3. Appointments, Payments & Pricing
Prices are confirmed at the time of booking and may change from time to time; existing clients will be informed in advance.
Payment is due at the time of your appointment unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Where packages or block bookings are offered, payment is taken in advance and is non-refundable once the first session has been used, except in exceptional circumstances at Laura's discretion.
4. Cancellations & Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give at least 24 hours' notice.
Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice, or non-attendance, may be charged in full at Laura's discretion.
If LMW Recovery needs to cancel or reschedule your appointment, you will be offered the earliest suitable alternative or a full refund of any payment made for that appointment.
5. Results Disclaimer
Laura will provide skilled treatment, guidance and aftercare to support your goals.
Outcomes depend on your own activity, consistency, lifestyle and other factors, and therefore cannot be guaranteed.
Some clients experience mild soreness for 24–48 hours after treatment; this is normal. Aftercare advice will be given, and you should make contact if symptoms worsen, persist or anything unusual occurs.
6. Liability
Massage and physical treatment carry inherent risks, which you accept by taking part.
So far as the law allows, LMW Recovery and Laura are not liable for any injury, loss or adverse reaction arising from treatment where reasonable professional care has been taken, or where you have not disclosed relevant health information.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
7. Confidentiality & Data Protection
Information you share with LMW Recovery is kept confidential and handled in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Treatment and health records are retained securely for the period required by our insurer and professional body.
Your details will not be shared with third parties without your consent, unless required by law.
8. Conduct
Appointments and communications should be respectful and professional at all times.
Any inappropriate behaviour will end the session immediately with no refund, and may result in future bookings being declined.
LMW Recovery reserves the right to decline or end treatment where it would be unsafe or unsuitable to continue.
9. Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time. The version in force is the one published at the
time of your booking, and any significant changes will be communicated to clients.
10. Agreement
By booking a treatment with LMW Recovery you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed
to these Terms of Service.
